Hop On Gurls!
A community of bikers, explorers and adventurers to serve as a platform for women who desire to break the traditional mould and embrace life and their passion and have fun along the way. The riding group was formed in 2011 by a handful of like minded individuals. Today the group has grown to a community of over 300 members – all sharing the love for motorcycling. From the day of inception, to this day, the group adheres to the core focus to help women learn to ride the iconic Royal Enfield.
Hop On Gurls! is proud to have fulfilled the dreams of more than 200 women to learn to ride a bike and to master the art of riding the Royal Enfield. The group as an unique initiative, undertakes riding lessons for women. Apart from the training sessions Hop On Gurls organizes breakfast rides every month, long rides every quarter, rides with fellow motorcycling clubs, technical sessions and also various other adventure activities. The riders of the group have ridden across the length and breadth of the country.
Upon being asked as to what motivates the group, the founder had this to say
“The urge to explore new horizons, experience new cultures and in the process become better persons keeps us going”
The group is based out of the beautiful city of Bengaluru. It currently has a presence in Mysore, Mumbai and Pune. The group also has conducted social activities such as blood donation camps, awareness about riding and safety and women empowerment.
